Chonita Boardman is a personable Community Relations Manager. She explained the amenities offered at Del Manor, Wynford, and patiently answered our questions. She took us on an unhurried tour of the premises. We are satisfied.

We have been delighted with all our experiences with Delmanor Wynford going back for the past 3 years. The public areas and the suites are excellent. Most of all, the staff are the best! We have been welcomed by every one. I risk singly out individuals, but Im and Diane ( in the dining room) have really made us feel welcome. I gave my review a 4 star rating which would be a 5 star except for a couple of fairly minor items. The new sink in the second bathroom leaked before we arrived. Since it was found and reported on a Friday afternoon, there was no one to fix it till the following Monday - a sad start to a wonderful move-in- experience. The clothes washer did not start for our first washing. It had worked earlier in the week for the housekeeper to do our initial laundry. We reported this on a Wednesday and again on Thursday morning. Late Thursday afternoon, I was told that "everyone had gone home"'. Friday morning, Freddie came and quickly found the "fuse" had blown. That had been my suspicion all along and I would have fixed it myself ,but as a new person in our new home, I did not want to start playing with electric switches! I would have expected these minor irritants to be fixed before people left the building the day they were reported or at least explained why they could not be addressed that day. But as I said at the beginning of this message, we are enjoying our first two weeks here and are confident we will be happy here in the future. June and Jack Rossall

Excellent visit

My husband and I moved into Del Manor Wynford just over a year ago and I can say without hesitation that it's the best thing we could have done. The units are lovely and the entire building is beautifully maintained. And the food!!! It's fantastic. The variety is endless with delicious daily specials and the accomodation of any dietary restrictions you might have always taken into account. But the best thing about being here is the kind and caring staff. Everyone works so hard to keep the residents happy and comfortable and they are always looking for ways to make sure you have the best experience possible. On that note I'd like to give a special shout out to our wonderful concierge, Imtiaz, who treats everyone like family and goes out of his way to help you with any concerns you might have. There are also lots of different activities you can take part in such as card games, Bingo and more. There are movies and entertainment as well . The residents I've met are easy to get along with and several have become very close friends. So if you are looking for a retirement home where you can feel comfortable and respected, I strongly suggest you take the time to check Del Manor Wynford out. I know you won't be disappointed.*****

I have lived in Delmanor Wynford for almost 3 years now. I am delighted with the entire experience, everyone on the Staff, and their services. They all are all kind, thoughtful, happy, and fully qualified in providing their services. From the moment that they each meet you, they remember your name, your meal preferences, and your special medical needs. All of the residents are very interesting, have amazing life experiences to share, and become wonderful friends to know and to share your experiences with. The food selection is varied, is well prepared, and is served with fun and laughter. In short, I am delighted to be able to live here!

I am a resident of Delmanor Wynford and have never felt so pampered! Until my move in January I did my own cooking, cleaning etc. Now I get weekly housekeeping, including linen laundry, wonderful meals, a wide range of activities and entertainment to choose from and medical assist on call. Staff is amazing! Everyone greets you by name and goes out of their way to make you feel at home. You can tell that I am very happy to be part of my Delmanor Wynford home.Cynthia Collins

On my recent visit to Delmanor from the moment I walked in the building the front desk staff was very courteous and friendly. All of the staff members were very kind to my grandmother and I was happy to see she feels at home. I have no concerns about the treatment and I am happy to know such amazing staff exists at Delmanor!

Many families struggle with transitioning family members from their residence to a retirement home and my family was no different. Delmanor Wynford did a fantastic job at easing this transition for my family and more importantly, for my grandfather who was making Delmanor Wynford his new home. Delmanor Wynford offers a wide range of activities every week, including bingo, exercise classes, and day trips around the city. They also have a number of cozy amenities such as a pub with a pool hall, rooftop terrace, a theatre and a chapel. These activities and events made it easy for my grandfather and other residents to develop close friendships with one another. The dining room service is top notch and they have various menu options for each meal to satisfy any craving. The staff are very friendly and guests are able to visit as frequently as they would like while enjoying a sit down meal! Sophia at the front desk developed a close bond with my grandfather and our family through her charismatic personality and positive outlook on life. My family is very grateful for everything Sophia did for my grandfather and what she continues to do for my great aunt who is a current resident at Delmanor Wynford. The current GM Matt Ross is extremely friendly and is always available to address any questions or concerns you may have. Matt works effortlessly to ensure the best experience and transition for your loved one at Delmanor Wynford. I would highly recommend Delmanor Wynford if you are considering transitioning your loved one to a retirement home.

My Gran moved into DelManor in September of 2019 and we are so thankful to the staff for making her feels so comfortable and important. When Gran celebrated her 98th birthday in May of 2020, right at the start of the COVID-19 lockdown, the staff allowed us to organize a birthday parade in the parking lot and brought her down to the window so she could see us and know how loved she is. Keri took pictures of us from inside so we were able share them with Gran afterwards and she could see everyone again in our crazy outfits and hats. During this whole pandemic the staff have gone above and beyond to make the residents feel secure and every time I speak with Gran she tells me how happy she that she was able to move in before the pandemic hit and how she is in the best place for her because they look after her so well. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this home and I will be eternally grateful to the caring staff for making sure Gran and our entire family have peace of mind that she is being taken care of to the best of their ability. <3 <3

My parents moved into Del Manor Wynford in the fall 2019. I am so impressed with the facilities and the staff. On every level the well being of the tenants is paramount. Throughout this terrible COVID 19 pandemic the teamwork and dedication of the staff is so impressive. They are working tirelessly to protect and reassure, and it is so appreciated. My parents are well fed, well taken care of and appreciate the camaraderie and positive attitudes that constantly surround them. Thank you to Scott and his amazing team.

My mother moved into Delmanor Wynford 3 weeks ago. The entire experience from before the move, during the day of the move and her transition into retirement living by the Delmanor Wynford team has been outstanding, with each team member demonstrating genuine professionalism. The move day was super smooth and we were delighted to have had the first dinner with her in her new suite with my siblings on move day. She has raved about the meals every time we have spoken, and for someone who was a good cook herself and relatively picky, this is a testament to the Delmanor menu and chefs! In a few short weeks, we have seen a positive improvement with our mothers state of well-being, and the family's peace of mind. Special shout out to Ashley, Kelly, Frances and Tania and the rest of the team for their support.

Ashley, Sophia, Janice, and the entire team at Delmanor Wynford have been absolutely wonderful to work with. They set the bar very high when it comes to professionalism, care, and compassion in their service. Hello, I'm writing to say a huge thank you to all Delmanor staff for the way they have handled the COVID-19 outbreak. My mom has been living at Delmanor for a few years now and loves living there. The staff are very warm, welcoming, supportive and approachable and have been so careful with taking all necessary precautions to maintain the health and safety of residents during this pandemic. In addition, they have set up Zoom calls for our family so we can stay connected with my mom and I know they are doing their best to keep the residents connected through hallway gatherings. Thank you for your kind and caring approach during this very difficult and challenging time.

I would first like to reach out to all the staff at Del Manor Wynford and thank you all personally from the bottom of my heart for the care that you have given my Mom ( Mary McGarry) during this extremely difficult time. You all reacted quickly on closing down the facility, had meals delivered to their apt’s and did not play around with this nasty virus. You were quick and strict and I thank you. My Mom has had wonderful help during her first year here and especially over the last few months. Thank you all!!

Huge shout out to Janice Hicks and the staff at Delmanor. My father turned 91 on April 14th this year during to Covid lockdown. We were supposed to be on a family cruise and due to all the travel cancellations that was not to happen. I just didn’t want the day to go by that he didn’t get family attention. I contacted Janice Hicks at Delmanor and asked if she could help me. I wanted to surprise dad and sing to him from the street but was worried he needed to get on his balcony safely. Janice with no hesitations said yes we would love to help. So when I arrived with my family nurse Brenda had both my parents safely on the balcony and many of the staff and the GM Scott along with Janice joined us to sing. He was over the moon excited. Thanks to all❤️

My father was one of the first residents in 2010, and recently moved to a nursing home due to health reasons. Staff, management, rooms, restaurant, food, activities, etc. were excellent. 5 star hotel treatment. Thank you Delmanor Wynford

My friend and I chose Delmanor Wynford after visiting other residences and we are very happy here. The building is bright and welcoming. All of the staff are friendly and helpful in accommodating any requests. The meals are very good and there is plenty of choice. Also, there are lots of activities: fitness classes, games such as Bridge, Bingo, Texas Hold "Em, and bus trips to shopping areas and theatre, COC and museums. We unreservedly recommend Delmanor Wynford.

My parents are tenants. The staff and residence are simply great for them and me. Recently, with my father ailing, the nursing staff and their leadership have been a god send to my parents and me. Del Manor is a warm, caring place for seniors and their families.
